April 12th 90 Aniversary of Montserrat Caballé

On April 12th we commemorate the 90th Anniversary of Montserrat Caballé at the Real Circulo Artístico in Barcelona with the film “Caballé beyond Music”.

Benefit Gala at the Circulo Ecuestre in Barcelona

On May 23rd we commemorated the 90th Anniversary of Montserrat Caballé with a Benefit Gala at the Circulo Ecuestre in Barcelona. The Gala started with a recital sung by Montserrat Martí and Carlos Cosías accompanied at the piano by Anna Crexells followed by a Gala dinner.

MASTER CLASSES JOSEP CARRERAS

This year 2023 the Foundation has organised their first master classes. It has been an honor to have Mr. Josep Carreras for this first edition. Master classes took place at the Real Circulo Artístico in Barcelona from September 25th to 29th and the final concert with the participants chosen from Mr. Carreras , took place at the same Hall on October 1st.

BENEFIT CONCERT AT THE AUDITORI IN BARCELONA MAY 18TH

In this concert the Foundation had the valuable participation of it’s Honorific Patron Josep Carreras as well as the Patron Montserrat Martí, the winner of the last Edition of the International Singing Competition Serena Sáenz, the already well known singer Saioa Hernández, from which Montserrat said in her masterclasses: “never forget this name, she will be one of the greatest soprano of the XXI century”, and Ruth Lorenzo who showed us how wonderful is the music in all the styles when is well sang and performed. All of them with Josep Buforn and Didac Flores at the piano.

Benefit Gala in Quinta do Ramo - Tomiño (Galicia - Spain)

On July 16th the Foundation organised a benefit Gala at Quinta do Ramo in Tomiño (Galicia) and the audience enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by a concert offered by Montserrat Martí, Andrea Pousa and the pianist Isabel Pérez Dobarro.
The Foundation thanks the three artists for their selfless collaboration and thanks to Quinta do Ramo for their wonderful welcome.

XVII MONTSERRAT CABALLÉ INTERNATIONAL SINGING COMPETITION

In 2022 the XVII edition of the Singing Competition has taken place in Madrid. A total of 304 participants arrived from 58 countries has participate in this edition obtaining great success in audience and press. The eliminatory rounds and semifinal took place at the Auditorium Montserrat caballé in Arganda del Rey and the final at Teatro Real in Madrid.

XVI MONTSERRAT CABALLÉ INTERNATIONAL SINGING COMPETITION

This year 2021 the XVI edition of the Singing Competition has taken place in Barcelona. A total of 341 participants arrived from 58 countries has participate in this edition obtaining great success in audience and press. The eliminatory rounds took place in CaixaForum and the semifinal and final at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT

On December 21st the Foundation organized the first Christmas Concert. The artists singing that night were winners of different editions of the Singing Competition, Montserrat’s pupils and friends.

The concert took place in the marvelous Church Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona where Montserrat use to sing several times for charities.

All artists performed for free, collaborating with the Foundation.
